This medieval fortress, attached to its rocky promontory, was the seat of the residence of the lords of Bourbon before their installation in Moulins, once they became dukes. Later, their descendants will become kings … With its fifteen imposing towers, the fortress was a solid defensive base.

Guided tours at 2 p.m. (Gélis-Didot, except Sunday),
2:30 p.m. (stained glass exhibition) and 4:00 p.m. (castle)
from July 1 to September 29 10 am-7pm
Guided tours at 10:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. (exhibition), 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. (castle)
and 2:00 p.m. (Gélis-Didot, except Sunday)
